3rd South Caucasus Security Forum (Tbilisi, 26 - 27 October, 2015)
In 2015, CENAA organized the 3rd South Caucasus Security Forum, together with the Ministry of Defence of Georgia. The forum took place on October 26-27 in Tbilisi, Georgia, under the topic:
"Euro-Atlantic Security, the Black Sea Region and Information Warfare"
The forum was held in the context of Crimean annexation by Russia and therefore the topics of the panels were tailored to correspond with this event and the implications and challenges it has brought not only for the security of the Black Sea region, but also for Euro-Atlantic security. There were four panels that directed the discussion:
- Euro-Atlantic Security: Georgia – a staunch aspirant on NATO’s eastern edge
- Information warfare and its strategic consequences
- NATO and its partners before the Warsaw Summit 2016
- Hybrid warfare and its implicatios for NATO members and partners
